Wonderful stay. Gardens and large private well maintained grounds are amazing and no need to stray from property if you want a get away from it all break , you can meander and relax all day within
the extensive places to sit and relax, and walks within the perimeter of the grounds. Fully equipped with all you need, lots of loving care and attention to detail for your stay. Quirky touches are
abundant throughout making this property stand out. However, the pictures on the website do not reflect the size of the property it is much larger than we anticipated the size to be and were very
surprised at the kitchen and bedroom area size. No feeling of being constricted here, just loved it!!!.

The Garden Wing is a lovely unique place to stay. Great surroundings plus all the creature comforts. Wish we had more time to stay.

  • Ella Southgate (Saturday, August 30 14 10:59 am BST)

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at the Garden Wing. Beautiful house, fantastic area to explore the Peaks. We didn't want to leave. Will hopefully return for a longer stay in the not too distant

  • Derek Curless (Tuesday, August 12 14 07:40 pm BST)

Far too often what you see on the website and what you actually get on arrival are very different. This is not the case with this property. What you see is what you get and if you are impressed by
the photographs you will not be disappointed with the real thing. We were lucky enough to spend 10 days in The Garden Wing. It was everything we wanted and the fact that we could not get a mobile
signal was an absolute bonus. Throw yourself into this place and take advantage of all the marvellous walks which are very nearby. Margaret has provided a very interesting history of the place and
please take the time to read it. There are two pubs within walking distance which serve good food but I would suggest that you make use of the very well equipped kitchen which allows you to prepare
very good meals in a very short time--there is every kitchen aid you need and you can buy very good meat and vegetables in Hope. We were very lucky with the weather but I think that your stay here
would be very enjoyable whatever the weather. We certainly hope to return.

  • Peter Kirton and Shirley Lawson. (Monday, August 11 14 12:39 pm BST)

Incontestably our best holiday let. The house, gardens and welcome were matchless. Every need had been anticipated, with more than sufficient diversions for all 8 of us (age 9 to 81). Thank you for
    being such thoughtful hosts.

  • Mark and Kirsty (Monday, July 14 14 02:45 pm BST)

What a delightful place to stay, we will definately be going back, the lodge and the location are just perfect. So very relaxing and a joy to just sit and be there.

  • Diane and Simon (Wednesday, January 22 14 09:55 pm GMT)

We had a very happy stay in the Garden Wing, which is a unique and wonderful destination. The welcome pack was amazing and the fact that the fire was lit to welcome us was very much appreciated. The
Garden Wing is in a marvellous location, close to pubs and great walks. The garden is fabulous, and the views from the windows, taking in the garden and landscape beyond, are lovely. We found the
kitchen equipped to a very high standard. But what makes the Garden Wing very special is its stunning decor, which is bold and imaginative, and a work of art. We would not hesitate to recommend it -
it is a gem of a place.

  • Simone & Dean (Tuesday, January 21 14 08:51 pm GMT)

We've just returned from a five night stay in the sanctuary of The Garden Wing; a retreat that has left us relaxed, revitalised and ready to face 2014...!

We were given the warmest of welcomes from Margaret and graham, shown around what was to be our home from home for the next few days and were left alone to enjoy the quirky yet divine decor, gorgeous
homemade treats and roaring log fire. It didn't take us long to realise there is nothing that hasn't been included in the property to ensure you the most pleasurable of stays. The highest quality
furnishings and equipment mean that guests can indulge in the ultimate comfort.

The location even in the midst of the bleak winter months is stunning. We enjoyed several walks direct from the doorstep that led to peaks which presented us with views for miles around. The locals
    were all friendly and accommodating.

As soon as the hum drum and demands of real life start to take over again, we will be sure to return for another retreat ...

  • Peter Moore (Sunday, December 22 13 05:27 pm GMT)

We have just returned from a few days break in the garden wing and it is simply one of the best places we have ever stayed. It provides all the comforts of home in a setting that is simply out of this
world. The decor is stunning and everything works to provide a totally relaxing and stress free break. We really loved the wood burning stove which gave the winter nights a special atmosphere.Graham
and Margaret were so friendly and helpful and the homemade birthday cake was a very special touch. We have already planned our next visit in the summer to properly use all the amazing outside space.

  • antony beckwith (Tuesday, October 22 13 07:33 pm BST)

We have just had a lovely weekend staying in the Garden Wing for 3 nights. What a beautiful, comfortable and unique base for walking in stunning countryside. We loved the wood burning stove, the
yummy homemade welcome hamper with cake, bread and homemade preserves, and the amazing bathroom with two showers, perfect for relaxing in after a long walk.

The hosts were lovely, and we could not have asked for a better weekend. There's everything you could possibly need and more in the Garden Wing, and the lovely gardens are perfect for strolling
around- we'll be coming back in the summer to make better use of them!

  • Kelly Thomas (Tuesday, October 15 13 10:02 am BST)

We have just come home from a wonderful weekend in the Garden Wing of the Meads. I can honestly say this was the most welcoming and cosiest place we have ever stayed. The cottage has such a good feel
and we enjoyed nights in more than actually going out. Also the location is perfect - and the views are stunning. So much on your door step or a short drive away. Margaret and Graham where full of
interesting facts about the area and also recommended fab places for us to visit. Overall a wonderful weekend and i can't wait to come back.

  • Andre & Sue Wingfield (Thursday, September 19 13 07:48 pm BST)

We have just had a fantastic holiday in the Garden Wing. We chose this accommodation because it looked amazing inside and out, and had very good revews, we were not disappointed in the slightest. The
hosts, Margaret and Graham, were very welcoming and put it so much effort to make it a memorable experience. The property and garden were exceptional. The welcome hamper was delicious and generous.
The village of Edale had lots to offer and the surrounding area was stunning. Would we go again? Yes certainly.
